Office Assistant

As the Office Assistant, you will be the main point of contact for ensuring all employees in our Belgrade office are set up for success. You will play a pivotal role to help a growing tech start-up. You will be the glue that binds everyone together in the office and one of the main engines that keep our company running. Your priority is to make sure the employees have what they need to feel happy, comfortable and supported at work.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
  • The main point of contact for all HR and payroll employee matters
  • Owner of updating and communication of company rulebook
  • Manage employee vacation and sick day tracking
  • Manage relationships with external providers such as accountants, health insurance, legal, health and safety, etc
  • Manage inventory of equipment and provide light IT support
  • Handle all required notice documentation and posting
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations and protocol in the office are met
  • Helps in the processing of payments, billing based on internal rules, checks their accuracy and completeness

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an administrative role or human resources; experience in accounting is a plus
  • Experience managing and adhering to a budget
  • Knowledge of local tax, benefits and employment legislation
  • Advanced usage of Excel
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
