Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Platform Operations

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform to support high-frequency trading operations across multiple blockchain networks
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Helm to ensure reliable, fast deployments with zero downtime
  • Manage and scale data infrastructure including Kafka streams, ClickHouse analytics databases, and Redis caching layers to handle massive transaction volumes

Observability & Performance

  • Architect comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and Linkerd to maintain 99.9%+ uptime
  • Implement distributed tracing and performance profiling to optimize latency-critical trading operations
  • Build custom dashboards and metrics to provide real-time insights into platform health and trading performance

Cross-Chain Integration & Reliability

  • Develop and maintain robust integrations with multiple blockchain networks (Solana, EVM, Sui, TON) ensuring consistent performance and reliability
  • Implement automated failover and disaster recovery systems to maintain platform availability during network outages or high volatility periods
  • Design and maintain secure, compliant infrastructure that meets regulatory requirements for financial services

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

  • Partner closely with backend engineers (Rust/Node.js) and frontend teams (React/TypeScript) to optimize application deployment and performance
  • Lead incident response efforts, conducting thorough post-mortems and implementing preventive measures
  • Mentor team members on infrastructure best practices and contribute to architectural decisions that impact the entire platform

Innovation & Optimization

  • Research and implement cutting-edge technologies to maintain competitive advantage in the fast-moving DeFi space
  • Optimize costs and resource utilization across the entire infrastructure stack
  • Build internal tooling and automation to accelerate development workflows and reduce operational overhead

Requirements

Essential Technical Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform, with experience managing complex cloud environments across AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration at scale

Data & Messaging Infrastructure

  • Production experience with Apache Kafka for high-throughput, low-latency messaging systems
  • Experience with columnar databases, preferably ClickHouse, for real-time analytics and time-series data
  • Proficiency with Redis for caching, session management, and real-time data structures

Blockchain & Web3 Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working with blockchain infrastructure, preferably with multiple chains (Solana, Ethereum, Layer 2s)
  • Understanding of DeFi protocols, smart contract interactions, and on-chain data analysis
  • Experience with Web3 infrastructure challenges including RPC management, node operations, and blockchain data indexing

Software Development: 

  • Proficiency in at least one systems programming language (Rust preferred, Go, Python, or similar)
  • Experience with TypeScript/Node.js for tooling and automation
  • Understanding of gRPC, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
