We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our data and analytics team in Belgrade, Serbia.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will turn complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting needs, design powerful Power BI dashboards, and drive data-driven solutions. Your proficiency in Power BI, data modeling, and visual storytelling will be essential.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, understand, and translate business requirements into effective data models and visualizations in Power BI.
- Dashboard Development: Design and develop insightful and user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards that communicate key metrics clearly.
- Data Modelling: Build and maintain data models, relationships, and measures in Power BI using DAX and best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work together with business analysts teams and business stakeholders, ensuring reports meet business needs and objectives, deliveringactionable insights.
- Data Quality & Validation: Ensure accuracy and reliability of data by validating against source systems and proactively identifying data issues.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation for data models, reports, and processes to support knowledge sharing and future development.
- Continuous Improvement: Support data governance, performance optimization, and contribute to the overall improvement of data practices within the organization.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications (Must have):
- Power BI Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and report design best practices.
- Data Analysis: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into meaningful insights.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, SQL Server)
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Dataflows, ADF)
- Business Understanding: Ability to understand business processes and requirements, and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications (Nice to have):
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL, PostgreSQL, Google Firebase, BigQuery, etc.).
- Exposure to finance and operations data (e.g., Dynamics 365 F&O) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with agile practices and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Additional languages, particularly French, are a plus.
- Project Management Tools: Knowledge of project management tools (JIRA) and collaboration platforms (Confluence).
