QA Engineer

Job description

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of complex enterprise systems used within TTE’ renewables organization. The role requires both manual and automated testing, strong technical understanding, and the ability to validate data-driven and system-level behavior.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of complex workflows, business rules, and edge cases
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests (backend, integration, regression)
• Validate data correctness, system logic, and integrations
• Collaborate closely with backend, data, and product teams
• Contribute to quality strategy for long-lived enterprise systems

Requirements

• Technical education (engineering / technical university)
• Proven experience in both manual and automated testing
• Experience with enterprise or data-heavy systems
• Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, and data flows
• Experience working in regulated or engineering-heavy domains (energy, infrastructure, industrial systems)

Technologies

• API testing (REST)
• Test automation frameworks
• SQL / data validation
• CI/CD pipelines
• Bug tracking and test management tools

AI & Modern Tooling (Mandatory)

• Practical, daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or similar) for:
  o test case design
  o test automation support
  o analysis and debugging
