We are looking for a keen-eyed Manual QA Specialist with an analytical mindset to join our team. The Manual QA Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet high standards of quality before they are released to customers. They will conduct thorough manual testing of software applications and identify defects or issues that need to be resolved. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing test cases to verify software functionality, usability, and reliability meet
the requirements - Performing manual testing of the application
- Tracking and reporting bugs and defects found during testing
- Analyzing test results to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Working closely with the Developers, Product Owner, and other members of the QA team to
ensure that software products meet high standards of quality - Reviewing user stories and functional requirements
Requirements
- 2+ years of active manual testing experience
- Analytical and logical mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and test management tools
- Experience with testing web-based applications is a plus
- A solid understanding of the Agile software development process (Scrum) is a plus
- Experience in manual software testing is a plus
