We’re looking for an experienced Rust/Substrate Tech Lead to join the team. The perfect candidate will have strong knowledge of the Polkadot ecosystem and Substrate framework, or be able to adapt swiftly within the first month. You’ll lead technical initiatives, review code, and contribute to the growth and development of Polkadot projects.
Responsibilities
- Polkadot Projects Involvement: Actively participate in the development and maintenance of Polkadot-based projects.
- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards are maintained.
- Architectural Decisions: Lead discussions and decisions regarding the architecture of new and existing projects.
- Team Education & Development: Provide regular onboarding, education, and personal development support for team members.
- Product Ideation: Contribute to the ideation process by suggesting new product ideas that align with and bring value to the Polkadot ecosystem.
- Client Workshops: Engage with clients through workshops to discuss project goals and align technical strategies.
- Hiring Participation: Assist in the recruitment process by evaluating potential candidates, and conducting task reviews and interviews.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Rust programming language.
- Familiarity with Substrate and the Polkadot ecosystem, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and driving project success.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
