Your Mission

As a Blockchain Security Researcher, you’ll be the guardian of Web3 security—protecting users, protocols, and the entire decentralized ecosystem from emerging threats. Responsibilities

Vulnerability Research & Analysis

• Hunt for attack vectors across smart contracts and blockchain protocols
• Design comprehensive security strategies that protect end-users
• Analyze emerging threat patterns and develop countermeasures

Security Tool Development

• Build automated vulnerability scanners and security testing frameworks
• Create security simulators that help developers identify weaknesses early
• Develop innovative tools that make blockchain security more accessible

Security Integration

• Embed security practices throughout the entire development lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security-first architectures
• Drive user-centric security decisions across product development

Threat Intelligence

• Monitor the latest exploits, hacks, and attack methodologies
• Proactively address emerging threats before they impact the ecosystem
• Maintain awareness of evolving attack surfaces in Web3

Knowledge Sharing

• Document vulnerabilities, mitigation techniques, and protection strategies
• Share insights with the broader security community

Requirements

• Deep EVM Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Ethereum Virtual Machine ecosystems and blockchain architecture
• Smart Contract Security: Proven experience auditing and securing decentralized applications
• Advanced Security Methodologies: Expertise in fuzzing, invariant testing, formal verification, and other cutting-edge techniques
• Blockchain Programming: Strong proficiency in Solidity with deep understanding of secure coding practices
• Security-First Thinking: Natural ability to think like an attacker while building defender solutions

Nice to have Qualifications (not Required):

• Experience with Golang development
• Background in designing innovative security frameworks
• Published security research or vulnerability disclosures
• Experience with multiple blockchain ecosystems beyond Ethereum
