Senior DevOps Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support enterprise clients in the telecommunications and energy sectors. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize AWS-based infrastructure, improve CI/CD processes, support Kubernetes environments, and drive infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code. You will work closely with client stakeholders and engineering teams, contributing to technical decisions, architecture discussions, cloud optimization, security improvements, and operational excellence. This position combines hands-on engineering with consulting responsibilities and technical ownership in complex production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure
• Improve and scale production environments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Develop and improve CI/CD processes
• Support Kubernetes environments
• Improve monitoring, observability, and operational reliability
• Participate in security and infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Optimize cloud performance and costs
• Participate in technical workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Recommend infrastructure and architecture best practices
• Collaborate with development teams and client engineers on infrastructure, deployment, and operational improvements

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (design, deployment, and operations)
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform or similar tools)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• Production experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability systems
• Strong focus on security best practices and operational reliability in cloud environments
• Experience with infrastructure optimization, scalability, and cost management

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills are important for this role.
