Full time Remote / Hybrid
We are looking for a programmer who can find elegant solutions to difficult problems and get things done in time. We follow agile practices and work in small iterations. We expect our candidate to be able to split a large task into a number of smaller steps, each one having a measurable or visible result.
Requirements
We would like you to have
- 6+ years of experience as Python Developer;
- Strong knowledge of Python in general;
- Experience with scientific Python ecosystem (pandas, numpy, scipy);
- Interest in designing scientific tools and general interest in science;
- Knowledge of Software Design & Software Architecture principles;
- Ability to understand R code;
- Being an advanced Linux CLI user;
- Basic experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS console);
- Experience with developing REST APIs in python (flask, FastAPI, etc);
- Experience with RDBMS is beneficial;
- Ability to write quality unit tests;
- Experience with version control tools and best practices (git, github flow).
It would be nice for you to have
- Experience in bioinformatics field;
- Fronted Development experience (R-shiny would be great, vue.js/react.js can be beneficial);
- Experience with applied statistical analysis;
- Experience with working in an HPC environment (Slurm, HTC Condor).
