Looking for a Senior QA Specialist to join Houzit in creating the future of how real estate businesses operate focusing on tech that empowers agents to break away from legacy brands.
As a Senior QA Engineer – Test Automation (Mobile and Web) at Houzit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks for both mobile and web applications. Your expertise will contribute to the overall improvement of our testing processes and the delivery of high-quality products to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to define test strategies, identify test scenarios, and create test plans.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Perform thorough testing of mobile and web applications, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, report, and track software defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously improve test automation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation techniques, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on test automation for mobile and web applications.
- Strong expertise in setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium , Test Project, Katalon or similar.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation scripting.
- Solid understanding of mobile and web technologies, including iOS, Android, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Agile Testing) are a plus.
